Big Winner at Jaqua’s Flag City Shoot

Sunday July 18, 2010 saw Madison County shooter Mike Maddux win big at this year’s Flag City Shoot. Mike broke 98 in Sunday’s program which was good for Handicap runner up and 1 yard of real-estate. Mike made a substantial wager before the shoot, so when he won the runner-up trophy, he took his five best buddies to Steve’s Steakhouse for a fabulous supper.

Congrats Mike! … and thanks for supper.

Member Shoot On Saturday, September 25th, 2010

Madison County Fish and Game will be holding the Club Championship, Saturday, September 25th, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. The cookout will start around 6:00 p.m.

Note: This year we are combining the Championship Shoot with the Member Shoot for the first time. Traditionally, we have provided a cookout for both events. This year we decided to have one big cookout and event.

We are planning to maybe grill balogna and onions (that’s bologna for some of you). After the cookout we will shoot reduced priced targets into the evening. Some events planned are The Jack Raub Specials, Buddy Shoots, and Mickey’s Special Doubles. Worry not, we will come up with some HARD targets.

Once again, remember to mark your calendars now for the Club Championship shoot on Saturday, September 25th, 2010.

Finally, bring plenty of shells and a big appetite.

With Best Regards,
